The Philippines offers a resource-rich environment. We have the fourth largest copper reserves in the world, making us well placed to meet the demands of both domestic and international markets.
Our world-class smelting plant and refinery allows for a range of extraction techniques. Pollution abatement facilities, an air strip and an onsite training complex support our workforce.
We have developed multiple methods for extraction and manufacturing. Smelting, refining, rolling, and extrusion allow for the manufacture of a multitude of high-demand copper-based products such as cathodes, alloys, and foil.
Strategically located in the central Philippines, our smelting plant benefits from access to two large ports, two bays and a deep-harbour facility. It can accommodate large vessels with room for up to 5,000 metric tonnes of copper. The multipurpose port can handle both inbound and outbound cargo.

With reserves of around four billion metric tonnes, we are one of the world’s largest producers of copper. Our technical expertise in extraction means that we can produce a wide variety of copper goods to serve many industries.
The resilience and determination of our workforce has contributed to the industry’s success, with US$2 billion worth of copper exports annually. We have the potential for expansion, and we can make it happen through the establishment of more world-class copper mines, a wire rod casting facility, and the promotion of higher value copper products.
